Kim Trinh Wicker

I was born in Vietnam and came to the U.S. as an asylum seeker at age six, settling in Indianapolis, IN. My dad was a military veteran and former POW; my mom, a resilient nail salon owner. As the family translator, I handled everything from catalog orders to real estate contracts by age 14—my first crash course in business, finance, and resilience.

Like many immigrant families, we worked hard—but when it came to building wealth, it felt like there was a playbook we didn’t have. That gap fueled my desire to learn everything I could about money. Over the years, through personal and business experience, I found my true calling: helping others gain clarity and confidence with their finances.

Today, I specialize in retirement planning, tax-efficient strategies, and empowering people to use money as a tool for purpose—not pressure. I'm a Registered Investment Advisor and licensed in Life & Health insurance across 15 states, which allows me to take a holistic approach to both growth and protection planning. I especially love working with women juggling careers, family, and the desire to finally feel in control of their financial future.

I’m married to a fellow entrepreneur who runs a bioplastics manufacturing company and is a former mortgage banker and real estate investor. We share our home with our Labradoodle, Bailey. I love traveling, trying new spicy things, and working on lowering my golf handicap—one swing at a time.
