Sophal Pettit, born in Cambodia in 1970, overcame immense challenges after fleeing the Khmer Rouge regime to build a new life in the United States. After arriving in America as a refugee at age 14, she graduated from high school in 1990 and quickly realized her desire for entrepreneurship. In 1997, she entered the Financial Services Industry, where she met her future husband, Charles Pettit. Despite language barriers that made passing her licensing exam difficult, Sophal's determination led her to succeed in the industry. Together with Charles, she built a highly successful business, earning numerous awards and becoming a key figure in their family enterprise, embodying the entrepreneurial spirit and resilience.
